This policy explains how Dragon's Gift, offered by Kutira Décosterd ("we", "our", or "us"), handles information when you use the app. Dragon's Gift is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

Information We Handle

App identifiers: The app creates a random identifier stored on your device and sent to our server to retrieve and manage your saved readings. It is not your hardware serial number or advertising ID. Although we do not require your name or email to use the app, this identifier can link your saved activity and is not completely anonymous.
Saved readings and journal notes: When you choose to save a reading, we store its card selections, reading type, date, and any notes you choose to add on our server, associated with your app identifier. Saving readings and adding notes are optional. Please avoid entering sensitive information that is unnecessary for your reflections.
Subscriptions and purchases in older releases: The free-access Android release (version 2.3.0, build 3) does not require a subscription or trial and does not initialize RevenueCat or collect new purchase information. In older releases that offer subscriptions, RevenueCat processes an app-user identifier, purchase and transaction information, and subscription status to verify purchases, restore access, and provide subscription analytics. Payments are processed by Google Play on Android or Apple's App Store on iOS. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
Local preferences: Settings such as your language and reminder preferences are stored on your device. Optional daily reminders are scheduled locally and can be disabled in the app or your device settings.
Support messages: If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include so that we can respond to your request.

How We Use Information

We use this information to provide saved readings and journal features, manage subscription access and purchase restoration in older paid releases, and respond to support and privacy requests. No account registration is required. The app does not display advertising or use an advertising identifier.

Service Providers

Information is processed by service providers as needed to operate the app:

Replit: hosts our application backend and data services, including saved readings and notes. See Replit's Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat (older paid releases only): manages subscription validation, entitlements, and purchase analytics. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Google Play: distributes the Android app and processes purchases and subscriptions in older paid releases. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Apple App Store: processes iOS purchases and subscriptions. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

These providers may process technical connection and service information under their own policies. We do not sell your reading history or journal notes. Your journal is not a public feed.

Security

The app communicates with its backend (and, in older paid releases, the subscription service) using encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Retention and Deletion

Saved readings and notes remain on our server until you delete them or request deletion; simply uninstalling the app does not delete server records. You can delete saved readings using the app's saved-readings controls. Deleting a saved reading also removes its associated notes from the active reading-history database.

For help with deletion or other privacy requests, email info@kahuainstitute.com with the subject "Dragon's Gift privacy request". Because readings are linked to an app identifier rather than an email account, we may need additional information to locate the correct records and verify the request. Contact us before uninstalling or clearing app storage if you need help locating your data. Do not send payment-card details or the contents of private journal notes.

Deleting app data does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play or Apple's App Store. Purchase records held by those stores or RevenueCat are subject to their retention policies and applicable legal requirements. Support correspondence is retained as needed to address your request and meet applicable obligations.

Adults and Children

Dragon's Gift is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us so that we can investigate and address the request.

We may update this policy when our practices change. The date above identifies the latest version.
